Just let me travel again…
I am really ill with the flu but I have an end of study Steerco meeting tomorrow. What should I do?
How can I not work to live - I want 10m as fast as possible and go retire. Working for another 30 years sounds miserable
I am new to RR this year. I am excited about this new journey and created this group to hear advice and tips for classroom setup, organization, and time management. Thanks to all who comment!
Uplift or Jarvis standing desk?
COVID 20 ??😕😟😨
Word to the other newbies like me. ALWAYS choose PPO over HMO for insurance (if you have the option). The extra cost is so worth it for the quality of your healthcare and your stress levels.
General musing - it seems like the vast majority of recs in here are for super expensive hotels and resorts (St Regis, etc). I work in consulting and make good money but can’t fathom spending $600+ a night on a hotel. Am I really in the minority or is it just that ppl staying at the Ritz want to show off?
gender equality is great and all but god dammit what i wouldn't do to have the first day of my period off from work.
What's the likelihood of making $1M+ annually 10 years after M7 MBA? What kind of roles / companies?
Just bought the 23 and Me health and ancestry. Anyone ever get their results and see something that shocked them?
Just found out I’m getting laid off in two weeks. How do I stay motivated to do work until then?
Correct way to record time? I travel for my engagements but it seems if you’re traveling, it counts against your total billable time. I just think that’s weird. Am I doing this right?
How do you spend the Summer (if you’re not in the classroom)? Are you relaxing and recharging or are you engaging in some type of content specific or pedagogical training?
I am not approved for financing the car due to immigration status and limited credit history. Leasing (1.99% - 2 years) and cash are feasible options. I really want to own the car so should I buy it off in cash or lease to build credit history?
Thought experiment: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The US today is about to crumble from within, similar to the Soviet Union in the late 80s.
