Thoughts on leaving public accounting for a sales role? Have you heard of any success stories from former accountants going down this path? I started looking into accounting software companies and Floqast seems like it may be a decent option. I’ve never heard of them tho.

What amount of money would you need to be offered from another company to leave (talk in terms of percentage increase in salary and include your level at the firm)? I’m passively looking and am curious what offer would be considered too good to pass up as an AY2.
I want to leave my job as an IT Auditor- but I fear that “IT Audit skills” are not reasonably transferable to other jobs. I’ve barely been doing this a year but I am not a fan of the tik and check of audit in general. Im not even sure what I’d want to do- any career advice or idea of a new role?
As an accounting major does it look bad to not have a cpa... really struggling. Mainly cause my heart just isn’t in it. I want to risk consulting or it assurance and potentially work towards my cisa. How to go about resigning during COVID? Obviously can’t do it in person so who have people called versus emailed? Do I need a formal resignation letter? How do I set up the call without it being obvious what it’s about? Clearly new to a 2 week notice so any advice would be great 😂
Is taking an exam before an interview common? Have to complete an exam about US GAAP before I get a phone interview and wondering if that is a sign of a super competitive workplace. They have good employee ratings though.

I haven't found it to be much more useful. You can reach out to the recruiter for the job posting but there's still no guarantee they'll respond (and sometimes you can do that without it anyway). It gives you some analytics for the job like top skills or whatever and if you're in the top xx% of applicants, not sure how it decides that though.
So in short, I don't think it is but go ahead and try the free trial if you haven't. Maybe you'll have better success.
I found it temporarily worth the $20 or whatever for a month when searching. Can see everyone looking at your profile and get some basic info about apps to various jobs. Nothing special but worth the price of a couple burritos for me.
I think I recently saw they increased the cost from $20-30 a month to $59 per month
Yes, this is correct.
