I want to work remotely, but am needing ideas for what to put on my resume. I’ve been an RN for 15 years and have worked mainly in hospitals: med surg, and some work in LTC, SNF, ALF, hospice. I have a year of teaching nursing students in clinicals and labs, and some lecture teaching. Also, I have done regional advising at a call center for 7 months. Just how to put this on a resume to “sell” myself seems challenging.

Thoughts on going into accounting/finance recruiting?

Any suggestions on how to address the upper management teams' racial biases? Like, I don’t think anyone on the team is openly racist, or at least they aren’t aware of it but I have been with this company for about two months now and I can tell the difference in the way POC are treated vs. the white employees. For context, the leadership team is made up of 12 men (all white), and two white females. So, yeah, not sure how to address this.

Just feel so meh.. I’m on the beach and finishing work early and it hits home how I have nothing else outside of work...

Projects are hard and have long hours, but I feel genuinely enthusiastic and engaged during them. Now I feel empty. :(

Did anyone regret getting an MBA?

I’ve been contemplating doing it since undergrad but never felt like it makes sense for me. I’m 27, getting promoted at work and have no plans of changing industries right now.

I’m just feeling a little FOMO seeing friends in MBA traveling the world, partying and making new friends. If I were to get an MBA it would only be for the experience and potentially the network (though I’m in Asia so I’m not sure how useful the network in the US would be).

Has anyone been asked for a post alumni interview call with A mba program before?

Those that have done/are doing an MBA: how much did you travel (leisure, networking, etc.)? Roughly how much did you end up spending on travel?

Where do partime jobs go on the resume? Under your full time work section or in a separate section elsewhere? And do you call it out as part time?

I’m American but I’d like to work in the UK post MBA. However, I’d much rather get a US MBA than a European one. Does this limit my chances in terms of recruiting? How would you approach this? Thanks

Any insight into the primary scholarship consideration factors? As an Asian male I'm thinking chances are slim at H/S so would rather go to a Haas or Tuck with $$$, say, than W or K with $ or nothing.

Is there a point when MBA doesn't make financial sense? I'm 29 at $180k base with additional compensation typically around 15-25% over the last few years.

I like what I'm doing I think, but a top MBA had always been one of those personal goals of mine. Goal would be to maybe switch to MBB where I think compensation is slightly higher than what I'm getting right now at my level.

Does it make sense to do a 2 year program, probably be $200k in debt and miss out on $400k earnings :(?

I talked to many other such as Scott, Stacy, Sanford K, mbamission, Fortuna, SquareonePrep, ARINGO, IVY and several other boutique firm( Loubna, Masaki, Sparrey etc.). I am yet to talk to Menlo. Has anyone in big consulting worked with people that have an MBA from BYU? If I can get an MBA only paying 30k and get the same big consulting result, that seems like a no brainer.

Work experience: Currently in MBB with previous internship experiences in Banking
GPA: 3.75 GPA from non Ivy League school.

I’ve been studying to retake the GREs but my practice test scores aren’t improving and I have limited study time because I’m on a burner case. Do I have a shot of my score doesn’t improve? Do I have one if it does?
