Hi Fishes, I am an MBA grad with 2YOE currently working as Business Analyst and looking for a change. Any leads would be much appreciated.
Any thoughts on making a career change by getting a MBA? Been with the firm for a bit more than 2 years as a senior 1 now. Got drained by PA and found myself just not interested in accounting.
If you are already a consultant, what are your actual post-MBA goal? Upgrade to MBB? Lateral over to IB for more work and more pay? FAANG for the RSUs? Those are the three paths I’ve identified where the business case holds water. Startups seem great but where’s the payoff?
Anyone take CISM? Similar difficulty to CISA?

Does anybody have go-to resources on post-MBA post-consulting compensation / offer studies? Trying to establish a POV ahead of negotiating and would love to find more resources similar to what Charles Aris offers in their studies.
I am currently studying in France and about to complete my 2nd masters (have an MBA), I am looking to move to UK or US, I am having problems getting a job, most opportunities I find just asks if I have a visa and apologize they can go any further, please can anyone help with what I can do, all advise would be appreciated.
How do people as young as 23 and 24 have so much saved already? I’m 30 and still have 30k in MBA student loans (which I’ll pay off next year). This bowl makes me feel like a failure
24, thankful to have my bachelors and masters, little debt...1st gen & trying to build my nest egg. However, I just feel so directionless/empty right now, in some ways. Accenture has not enabled me to explore several areas of interest in my first year, and I cannot see a long-term here. It is no time to pivot. Have considered a MD/PhD/MBA...know it’s in the future, but no idea what, when, or where. Just feeling like the days are passing and I’m just doing my best. Any thoughts?
Leaving soon for brand management role in CPG which I’m really excited about but curious if this will close the door to opportunities (product marketing, non technical product manager) in tech in the future. Really interested in the brand management role but if I end up not liking it the comp trajectory is not nearly as good as tech and wanted to know if that door will still be open. 2YOE, if I make a switch would likely be at 4-5YOE assuming I don’t go MBA route
Is it possible to do part-time internships in consulting while doing a full time mba? Considering a few schools in the northeast but not sure if it would be completely feasible or if the firms even offer something like that
I’m looking to take the PMP while I have some downtime. Any recommendations for classes to fulfill the 35 hours of education/training? Also, what did you use to study?
Are there any good free CISA study guides/ materials out there? I don’t want to pay $400 for the isaca database just yet.
Mba.com won’t allow me to schedule a GMAT exam within 16 days of eachother. Is there any issues with just creating a second account and scheduling it anyway?
As a woman, do you feel like your efforts to have a career go in vain? Im 25, Indian, working on my 2nd cpa exam, and all anyone can ever tell me is how it's time to settle/get married! Like damn.
Have toyed with the idea of an MBA for a bit, but just now starting to look seriously as I want to move into business development and strategy. 29F, 3.67 UG GPA, 710 GMAT (but I didn’t study so I think I could feasibly get a bit higher), 5 years work experience in three industries (most recent is audit but I’m starting a process improvement role with lg bank in the next month), already have a master’s in accounting and a CPA. Am I dumb for considering an MBA? And if not am I looking at T15 max?

I'm definitely more productive remote. The office just provides too many opportunities for socializing. Plus I wouldn't feel ethical billing my client for my midday nap.
Planning a move cross country. Chicago -> west coast. Expenses wise, how much should I expect to drop? Currently in a 1 bedroom apartment. Any recommendations for a moving service?
Anyone have insight on how life is like as a Senior Knowledge Analyst @ Boston Consulting Group? Curious to type of work you’d be involved with, WLB, exit opps, and of course pay. TIA!
Is there any lab to find out whether my hair loss is because of stress? I have been told so but I don't think I have any stress. Got detailed lab but bloodwork is all within limits
