Which mbb roles serve as mainly pmo?
Got an offer at one of the MBB and in process for Accenture in their Strategy division (CEO & ES). For MBB, would be coming at a level below (PL/EM) with 1 year tenure and Accenture would be lateral (SM). Leaning towards the MBB offer as it has been my dream to get into MBB and the overall value proposition. Is there any strong reason to prioritize Accenture Strategy over MBB in this case? Would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.
What does MBB mean? 🤔

Absolutely no. 1) where the best apprenticeship happens, 2) huge part of the value prop to attract best talent, 3) core part of our working model
Nope. I mean it’s probably going to be less travel for the foreseeable future

Who the hell knows? There are some in the public health community calling for a permanent new normal of only WFH even post-vaccine (vaccine only likely to protect against symptoms not stop the spread, and won’t work for everyone, so Covid will be a perpetual public health issue). So we have to get over that barrier first before we even talk about work travel. But, my gut says travel will be reduced a bit but not eliminated if we do get over that barrier.
Hm that’s interesting. I’d think that they’d want staff to be able efficiently do grunt work with real-time feedback and be sufficiently prepared to interact with clients in-person as they move up on the ladder
How could a firm justify asking for higher bill rates because the consultants aren’t traveling? I believe the bill rates would go down if all work is remotely done by consultants.
No definitely not.
