Rating*.... hopefully it doesn't affect your eating

Sounds a staff 1 asking this questions so chances are you're getting a 3 regardless.

You're fired.

Lol it takes like over 20 to do barely anything

Ouch

Yes

At EY it takes 5-6 missed time sheets for it to affect your eating

I've heard 4-5 will affect your rating and promotion. But at the roundtables, everything will get scrutinized. If you are a borderline 4, you might become a high 3 because of this.

I can tell you as someone who missed 5 timesheets last year that no. I still got a 5. Maybe it would if they're on the fence with your rating but who knows how this new "no ratings" system works anyway.

What did you do to get a 5?

@EY5, I thought I just did my job, so it's hard to say. But that was 2 yrs in a row so I guess I'm doing something right, even if that's not timesheets lol

Timesheets of two days or whole two periods of timesheets

Hahaa I know who you are

After a month of having to constantly ask about my onboarding, I finally was able to join. Now, it's been two weeks and no one seems to know how I get my laptop. With the support number I get an automated response of some mail I should have got which never came. I raise a ticket and they close it saying talk to the manager or onboarding advisor. There is no onboarding advisor and my manager asks me to go back to support. So, did I do something to offend the gods or is this hassle expected?

At a boutique firm for just over a year, I know this isn’t the best place for my growth, but a promotion is coming. Am I better of sticking around or try to go to MBB or big 4 at an associate level?

I currently work at a big start up and made a lateral move to another team a few months ago with five years experience. Since then , I’ve created a whole new service line and took over many of my managers duties. As I took a paycut to join this team - I’m pushing for a raise and title change. Is this reasonable?

Started new job at a non-F500 (CorpDev) this week (got offered +45% over my previous base). Received an offer today from EY, which is +35% over my current base. I kinda like the CorpDev gig more and have very little motivation to join EY (that particular team). Can I still use their offer to pump up my current base here at the non-F500? How can I ask for a raise and not set wrong impression so early on?

Switch to another consulting firm for 20-25% raise + bonus but same level (manager) or wait for promotion at EY this year but still less money. Doesn't look like EY will match the competing offer.

I am in public accounting and I got pulled into the Audit department to help out. I didn't have much of an option because there was no project available and I needed to get billable hours (I am under Acct and Fince Consulting). The problem now is I've completed my work and I am still not billing as I had hoped. I was informed there's plenty of work, but not seeing it. Am I missing something here? I haven't been informed I am not doing my job properly.
