Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

I was a PhD in one of those companies in Canada. OW specifically is far more focused on undergrad hires and much less on MBA, PhD and lateral hires compared to MBB. That may have changed during the pandemic however. Also note that OW hires you at the undergrad level instead of the MBA level unless it has changed since I left

All depends on how good you fit in. I’ve met some that are really good fits, and some who aren’t. It generally is good to target a specific practice tied to the PhD
I guess I’m referring to way before the ‘fit’/interview stages. Like if a PhD holder submitted an application would they get auto screened out before having a chance.
For example many stem PhDs (even CS PhDs) have near 0 shot at getting into SWE roles at alot of firms. This is simply because there are enough fresh undergrads they would rather hire.
As BCG1 said, other companies hire us at the undergrad level. I didn't apply to those for (what I think are) obvious reasons.
Not a man but yes! 🤣
Not sure about what it looks like for OW, but for Kearney, they’re open to hiring PhDs for sure and it’s an expanding channel but not a mature one. As others mentioned, you would come in at the post undergrad or post undergrad + 1 position (still pre MBA either way).
If you’re open to moving to the US and happen to be a life sciences PhD, LEK is another one you should consider.
