Kindly shed some light on this!

Yes, but both are good firms in different areas. OW does have better “general” rep though for those in the industry.
Only spot AP is truly “best in class” is restructuring, but they pay well and aren’t up or out like many other spots.
Source: I worked at AP pre-MBA (admittedly more junior)
Worth mentioning you worked in FAS here. Our EI practice has doubled since you left in 2015.
I got hired post MBA at OW. Only area that AP a would make more sense would be restructuring engagements. For the rest, OW does a much better job of industry and/or functional exposure.
OW is a well known name in operations related consulting engagements, specially within the Transportation and Services sector. You’ll have better exit ops at OW relative to AP.
Where is the data??? Lol
We have new beverage machines in NYC - like 50 different soft drinks and flavored seltzers. Assuming AP doesn't have that - we win.
This is bs! I’m going to show it to our soda buying department and get them to match.
By far
Weird question as OW hires a minimal amount of MBAs and they have very little overlap in functional team or industry work.
Yes
But be aware, OW doesn’t do a lot of on campus recruiting at the MBA level. Not saying they don’t do any, it’s just not their primary model. Much more promoting from within.
Same as anywhere else, it depends on the practice area and what you’re defining as Strategy.
Heard AP’s consulting practice is more implementation focused. Guessing OW is more strategy focused.
@associate 1, plz fix reading comprehension
Yes
Maybe, but do you want $$$ or fame?
Ap2 is that in the EI practice or the TRS practice? Or both?
OW hands down
Yes, 100%
