Hello all, I’m currently an Associate Project Manager in the tech/product space. Here I’ve been gaining experience with agile/scrum methodologies as well as the entire SDLC.

No, passive income isn’t a requirement. Someone can plan to sell shares. No meaningful difference between the two.
That is a good point StMgr 1… maybe we need passive income AND a side hustle
It's not poor timing, you just need to look in markets outside of the NY/Cali/DC/Seattle. I bought a duplex last year that is cashflowing more than double my expenses.

A way to generate funds to live off is a requirement, but there are many ways to achieve that.
Stock dividends (and appreciation) are both passive income.
There's nothing passive about real estate unless you buy REIT
I'm 100% stock indexes and don't have to spend any free time dealing with landlord headaches
I mean it’s beachfront so there are lots of vacation rentals around. A mix of year rounders and summer folks. But it’s a single family home.
