Currently a tech consultant and looking to transition to strategy. Any one want to earn a referral bonus?
Anyone know any good resources for learning to recruit out of consulting? So much info online about getting into consulting, not much about finding the best exit ops
Guy behind me in the group 1 line to board the plane - "are you group 1?" - no asshole, I'm just standing here to be a total inconvenience to you. STFU and go to your exit row seat.
It doesn't seem right to me that companies will double referral bonus when hiring minorities. Am I the only one or am I missing something here? See link in comments.
Any advice on telling my SM that my current role is not a good fit? I don't want to burn bridges. I'd like to stay on this project but move to another role that aligns with my skills and career path
hypothetical- let's say you got laid off from your firm. You see a similar position on website and apply. Recruiting team then reaches out to talk about the opening. Do you take the call?
"You're missing the point" is pretty much the standard opening response when trying to explain the big-picture client impact to anyone on my Ops team. Miss having teammates w/ critical thinking skills
If any of you affected by the layoffs are interested in a referral, shoot me an email. FBKPMG@gmail.com
Does anyone know what level of a position a Group Manager is at BNY Mellon? From the description, it sounds like at least VP maybe a senior VP.
MBB energy practice in Houston: (1) how busy are you (2) how big is the practice (3) what kind of projects do you typically work on (4) are you hiring?
How long does it take to get to manager position, starting from the beginning of your public acct career?
Time in role until promotion. How long does it normally take to be promoted from a consultant to Manager assuming you came into the consultant role as an experienced hire.
What strength helps you the most in your role? What is a strength that you do not get to leverage?
Found an awesome industry position. Description says it requires 5 yrs exp with bachelors, 3 with masters. I have 2.5 yrs, no masters (but have had really great internships since fresh yr). Have shot?
Green dotters, what kind of majors/previous work experience does Deloitte Digital look for in hiring folks?

What tech/travel product is everyone anticipating on getting for cyber monday? Bonus if on Amazon!
Thinking about caving and finally getting an IPad Pro. Usages would be for work email, note taking, book reading and digital articles. I know that’s one expensive notebook, but I think it could give me access to internet without constantly being on work laptop at night and weekends and being available. Thoughts from those who have one and worth the $1500 with a keyboard?!?
Salesforce senior manager at PWC or specialist leader at Deloitte and why? Interviewing for both and the TC is about the same.
