IDC about salary, my end goal is to learn & know end-2-end tech, work in MAANG in next 1-2 year
LTI said they would put me on bench and based on skillsets assign me random project. In 'X' no laptop/work assigned, yet less clarity on project

Venting: Why do people with poor interpersonal and management skills keep getting promoted to manage people? I know that experience is valuable, but so is being able to lead well, encouraging your people, avoiding passive aggression, and not insulting everyone for minor typos when your own emails are atrocious. It just feels like no one cares to invest in leadership training for paralegals and support staff.

Less than a year into my role as an analyst in IT audit. Took the role with the hopes of transferring to a finance-focused group and after passing CFA L1 I mentioned this to my coach last week (also hold an MS in Finance, FWIW).

He said we should move on this quickly and to send him over a few projects / teams I’d want to work with.

If I would eventually like to find myself in IB, is my best bet to try transferring into the valuations group and also, how should I frame my outreach?!
