Hello all. I'm a Foreign Medical Graduate who recently moved to US looking fot better life. Currently not Board Certified to work as a physician in US territory. I'm currently working as a Patient Care Technician in a dialysis company because it was the 1st job I could get when I got to the US. Is there any other option I can do where I can get a better pay or growth within the organization? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently working as Audit senior assistant at deloitte USI and my promotion is due in upcoming June month in deloitte. I Got an offer from KGS australian region as senior 2 position and hike is 25% from current package. I heard that worklife balance is good at KGS normally it is 8-9 hrs max job in a regular day but quality of work is not at par with deloitte USI really confused about whether should i make a switch or stay back in deloitte and wait for promotion?

I don't know how to make friends anymore nor know how to connect with old friends.

I’ve been asked by a recruiter to attend a 2nd round case study interview with PWC lasting 1.5 hrs the day after tomorrow. It’s very short notice and I’m not prepared for it, nor will I have time to prep. If you were in this situation would you bow to the pressure from the recruiter and take the interview?

Interviewing for a position at Capital One. I'm willing to move to the location in the job requisite. However with current environment of COVID, I would prefer to remain remote ans travel 1x or 2x a quarter. When is the best time to bring this up? I'm a big four associate who was just fired by HR and a partner. I've only been at the company a few months and got a good review. HR said "the partners and I have discussed" without explanation. What can I do about this? They have no evidence of poor performance, and my team loves me. What's next? If I'm fired, can I apply for unemployment? I'm unsure what to think or do.

When I was at Accenture I thought ACN Strategy was the top of the top but I didn’t go to a fancy school so imagine how hard it was to network my way in. Then they stopped transfers because of COVID and I was laid off despite all of the good reviews I had calling for me to be promoted. I was almost happy with 100k just to be a senior analyst in Strategy.

Today I just signed my offer at a tier 2 firm and I’m making over 180k. Thank you Accenture for the lay off. EVERYONE KEEP PUSHING!!!!!!!!

Potential incoming KPMG experienced hire looking to negotiate a comp. Nearing 14YOE with an MS. Currently at 220k base (4-6% annual bonus, 9% 401k match) at a company, and want to bring me on at the Senior Associate level (lol I know, I know). Gonna try to upgrade to a Manager level role if possible. Based on where I’m at, is KPMG going to even be close? I’m okay with a lateral move as well, since I’d like experience and branding also.

Are there any go-to books for product marketing (B2B or B2C) folks recommend? I’ve got tons of resources on general product / being a product manager, but seems to be limited info on PMM or product marketing in general. TIA!
