Every morning I wake up at 5. This guarantees me 45 minutes of quiet time. This time is reserved for me, selfishly! It is used for me, selfishly! It looks different each morning.
• Some mornings I jog.
• Some mornings I start to jog, give up, & go eat a snack cake.

• Some days I sit in the shower & let the water hit my face like rain.

Am I just dumb or something. Everyone has been talking about how hot the job market is right now but I can't seem to land anything.
For context I'm a top performer at a top boutique for our industry with a 4.0 GPA in a STEM major. I've gotten rejected without interview at every start-up I applied to. Made it to a final round with a VC and got rejected. Applied to generalist consulting firms like MBB, OW, etc and I'm not getting any bites.
I have 9 months experience. Is this the major crutch?
I had an interview where I asked what the salary range is, and the person refused to answer the question. They said they would have the recruiter reach out to me. Is that common? I feel as if I’ve lost the advantage if the recruiter emails and asks what my expectations are.

Is it true that exercise helps you have more energy? I eat decent, but I’m about 20lbs overweight. I bought a spin bike but got shin splints from it 4ish months ago, so I just do low impact classes 1-3 days a week. Any advice on changes I could make to get better energy? I try to stay away from caffeine

I’ve been lifting probably 6.75 days a week on average since COVID started due to having a home gym. Lately my motivation and interest has flatlined and it’s a big struggle to get myself to work out. Maybe I was doing it too much and burned myself out?

Has anyone successfully lost 45 pounds? If so, what program did you follow? I have tried everything but after I was put on steroids for autoimmune I’ve been unable to lose the weight. I can’t seem to find a program I can stick to as I’ve been normal weight up until now and it’s pretty discouraging. Any tips and tricks are appreciated!

When I was still in big law two years ago, I woke up one night with chest pain and a pounding heart.
Ambulance, hospital, all kinds of checks imaginable. Nothing found, apart from moderately high blood pressure caused by the situation. Final dx was a panic attack.
Recently, I have been getting similar symptoms occasionally, doctor reassures me, I’m a slender and fit guy who can run 10k in 50 min with no pain or discomfort, but you get scared..

Regular Runners: how do you break up your run schedule?
I have a 3 runs right now (long, med, sprint) at around 10 miles/week but am wondering if it may be more advantageous to just do more days at the moderate pace. My sprint workout is the same every week pretty much though I add maybe one interval every other week. Interested to hear what others do - do you switch up sprint workouts, run every day, or have a strict program?
I'm not training for anything specific. I'm also lifting. Thanks!
