Hello, I'm working with Deloitte and recently got an offer from EY GDS TTT.
YOE: 5.2
Tech: .Net & Angular Full stack developer
CCTC: 13.35 Fixed
EY offer: 19 fixed
Role: Advanced Analyst (Rank 44)
I'm not satisfied with the role as I was expecting a senior role. I mailed HR about the same but it's been 10 days and still no reply.
So, can I get promoted the coming year as I will ge 6 YOE by June?? Any suggestions would really help. Thanks 😊

Program manager salary at Slalom?
If they want you, yes
Always. Don’t make the mistake I made early on in my career by not negotiating when the recruiter (during the offer process) said “we are already offering you a salary at the top range for this job”. Recruiters/hiring managers/companies don’t want to empty their entire pockets if they don’t have to. And even if they really don’t budge, just always ask. You never want to leave money on the table.
Yep pretty much always. Key is to not talk about salary if at all possible until you know they want you.
Yes, advocate for yourself. But, I believe the idea of knowing a range is simply playing into the recruiters’ game.
When offers have come in under what I’ve wanted, I’ve pushed for a bump in title to get into the desired band.
Generally yes, but sometimes if you’re at the very top end of the salary band already you might get a bump in signing bonus or some other benefit instead (like extra pto)
Very hard at some places where they have solid bands (eg MBB)
I’ve gotten bumps though don’t let MBB dissuade you from asking
Not at pwc - at least below director level. The exception being if you talk them into placing you in a higher rank within the band (2nd year manager vs 1st year manager).
However they may use sign on bonuses to make up for some of the difference.
It's a pretty hard and fast rule. It's in part how we protect ourselves from equal opportunity issues. Everybody gets the same salary at the same level regardless of gender, ethnicity, etc. Level is flexible and negotiable. Salary at level is not. If you want a higher salary, negotiate a higher level.
Was this before or after they moved to cohort model?
Cohort model is guidance not an absolute
