Is SAP also going to layoff people, like other firms are doing?

Does anyone have any insight into the Layoffs from a SCNO perspective? (Numbers, duration, etc.)

Two years ago got fired. Reason, Boss was unhappy beacuse of my direct contact with CEO also with other higher level people. So he took my CCTV footage to show his bosses and hr that i always roming around which is true beacuse i finish my work way faster then others. To add more skills i hang around with purchase or sales, learn from them few new things. BTW i never ever been late for submitting my work on time. And everyone likes me. Feeling angry and very bad what did i done wrong.

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. At this point in the game it doesn't make a difference where you at everybody is getting laid off at one point or another the only thing I say is try to repair yourself for it if it happens to you

Have you seen examples of those with L1-B visa changing the employers? I know that L1 visa broadly ties you to your sponsor employer, so in case you are laid off / want to switch jobs; pretty much you are asked to leave the states; so was wondering if there are workarounds to that end.

Anybody heard Wipro firing its D1 partners left right and centre (irrespective of whether they are over or under achievers) to cut costs… and the most astonishing part is these people are being fired at 1 or 2 day’s notice, even in developed countries like Australia !!!

Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere? I've had 7 managers in my 4 years of experience, 3 in one year at my first position (which is why I left) and now 4 at the 2nd company in 3 years. There has been a mix of people leaving and people getting fired but the instability feels extreme.

Whats the difference between consulting and advisory in terms of job duties, pay, wlb, etc? I have asked this question to many people in both positions, and no one is able to give an actual answer that differentiates the two.

Looking for advice on what types of reports/data are most convincing to senior leadership for keeping staff on who serve internal functions (knowledge managers, intranet, content specialists)- I fear these are the positions which will be lost/replaced by contractors.
