I am doing an initial screening with a PE firm for a role within their portfolio operations team. What comp/level should I expect? I am currently on a $215K base + Bonus at Deloitte strategy. The role sounds interesting and involves shaping the strategy for their portfolio companies to improve performance. Any insights you can share would be great!

I just got an offer for a fully remote role, and while it says fully remote there is a clause at the bottom that says remote is a benefit and can be rescinded for any time/reason etc. I only even interviewed for the role bc it was remote and I was clear I can’t move, the office is a 6 hour flight away in a different time zone. Is this clause normal or should I be concerned? Like I’m worried I’m going to get a call one day saying I have to be across the country in office. Pls help! Thank you

Do you ever feel loneliness as an executive woman? Since stepping into a more senior role I feel there are even less people for me to relate to. Some of my friends are stay at home moms, for example, and others just don't quite get my lifestyle. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Why would people waste their time in a career that they hate to exit to a career that is more of the same but pays higher.
