Why is it so hard to get an interview as a software engineer? I’m currently working as an software engineer intern as a lead on the front end side at a start up company and trying to find my next opportunity when this internship ends, but I been applying to ton of places and not getting much interview request. I don’t think my resume is bad either. How can you get more interviews? If anyone is willing to give me a referral, please let me know.

*recent graduate* Whenever I ask an employer why I didn’t get the job or get to the second step in the interview process, they never respond. So, I’m assuming my lack of experience (I never did an internship in school🤦‍♀️ ) or portfolio is the problem.

I am from a tier 1 college and yet able to land only a couple of interviews and they keep me on stand by(2 companies so far). They are prefering folks with experience even for APM positions. What is the best way to bag a APM role with just one year work ex in pperations role. Will an internship help?

I have been experiencing a lot of subtle bullying and gaslighting from my company. Its the oddest thing because I know its gaslighting but I almost try to explain it away in a sense like maybe thats not it and etc. My company lacks diversity so I ma not sure if that’s why but its been odd and getting worst every day.
