Hi, anyone willing to move to big 4?
Dickinson Wright salary scale?
Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

They do a shit ton of Salesforce work. It's not all good, but neither is ours, Deloitte's, or Accenture's. SME's make more money there than anywhere else as far as I can tell, I was offered 175k as a solution architect, which is a role that is generally management-level in scope but senior-level in reporting structure. In fact maybe they're on the forefront there because I see more and more firms treating a solution architect as a senior management level role if the solution involved is complex enough. I was on a project recently where a MD was "enterprise architect" in a project, but in reality that is a very different role and he was more realistically being used as a "solution architect x 1.5".
No.
Lol Tata? Only heard bad things
Yes as Deloitte and others are stabbing each other trying to win work from the Tatas and Cognizants and Infosys' of the world as the competition has become so stiff. The Big 4 edge has been marginalized. So many CEOs at the F500 don't want to even look at the Big4+others nowadays. Also technically these guys are way better. Fuck I needed an act of congress to people for vendor training.
EY people talking about bonuses will be shocked at the type of stock options people working at some of these cos get/make. Met a person at Cognizant who is worth 1/2 a million in CTSH stock.
^ thank you. I didn't want to go down the path of "MBB is strategy B4 is implementation Tata is help desk," understanding any big firm may compete up or downmarket. That's very helpful
On another note the thing that's bizarre to me is that Capgemini seems to be trying to occupy a space that is between TCS and ACN, kind of like Kmart for many years trying to fit between Wal-Mart and Target. Their rates are incredibly low but a number of deals we have lost to them have come back because they couldn't execute the projects. I don't see that with ACN or TCS, though admittedly if a client is considering both us and TCS, price is not the determining factor because the approaches are very different. Back on TCS I also had a recruiter hit me up for a "partner" role, which according to Glassdoor only pays about 10 - 20k more than the aforementioned solution architect gig! I'm assuming it's much more of a MD/SME-type role than what a partner does comparing to B4.
