Yes; my firm even has an online directory of in-house opps that were sourced internally.

In good firms, yes. Not all big firms do this, though, particularly if partners view associates as disposable and just want to churn and burn them.

Yes my firm does this. But not like “hey associates consider this role” but more like “hey client is looking- spread the word.” Same thing on LinkedIn.

I’ve done it and will continue to do it. If I have a client looking for an in-house role and I have an associate who I think would be good, when I make the match and that associates needs outside counsel, who do you think they will think about? Exactly. It can be a win win.
Our partners definitely do not do this, but I wish they did. They're so worried about retention that they don't want any associates to see a gig they want and leave. We do have a job board of in house jobs, though... Somewhere
