Thanks BA1. I am guessing that means it's equal to a senior associate at pwc?
No
Yes. Technically and associate is a manager and thus would equal a manager by title at PwC. But that's about where the similarities end. I've seen 2 Lead Associates from BAH come in to PwC in the last two months. Both as Sr. Assoc. Obviously it has a ton more pieces to it than just title, but BAH doesn't have the same BD expectations as PwC. Most BAH associates (unless very well experienced and with good pipeline) would come in as a Sr. Assoc. Just my .02 cents. I've worked at both for what it's worth.
Consultant>>Sr Consultant>>Associate
Booz lead associate or Senior associate is = manager at big 4
Associate is nowhere close to a manager at PwC. Not saying Booz doesn't have some great people, which they do, but overall, Pdubs is much higher on the food chain with talent and quality of work and compensation. Booz is nobody's first or second choice.
I believe lead associate is the most equivalent to a new manager, but like P4 said it's hard to make a later move unless you are really in demand.
Honestly even senior associate at Booz is still equivalent to an exp manager at PwC. Check out glassdoor and compare salaries.
Gaaaa@ of a.
Resources are NOT fungible
@BA1 PwC is Associate >> SA >> Manager so they /look/ like the same level
@P4 really appreciate that perspective, thanks for sharing
