I told him if anything he should do managment engineering which he got accepted to. He also got accepted to Mcmaster- information management systems. Which in my opinion you get a bit of everything! How Is the future of C++ language . I have been working on c++ for almost 1.5 years in a health care industry to maintain legacy code base.
But my current pay is only 10 lpa. While my friends in full stack developer role is earning twice my package .

So I am confused , will the package get better if I switch companies ???? Or is it better to switch the tech stack itself ????

I like c++ coding much more than any language .but package is also my concern.

I didn’t keep record of those projects but I created a portfolio to show proof of knowledge/skill but it’s not lengthy. Got laid off due to COVID and have been struggling to find a job. I wasn’t happy and my mgmt sucked so this is a good thing. Now I really hate the idea of working for a company. I know everyone works and I’m not a genius who can just start a scalable biz. But I just can’t get my head around the idea of doing something I hate for a paycheck. All these years of busy seasons burnt me out. Struggling in between doing something I enjoy for less pay and taxes for more pay.
