In Debt Finance v50 nyc billing 60+ a week. I’m burnt out and staffers no longer care because we have lost so many people. We are mostly surviving on junior associates with just 3 associates left in 5th and above. How do you know when it’s a sinking ship? When should I move? Are there any debt finance teams which aren’t drowning? Dont mind changing practice area either since I have no specific love for financing.

How much do you rely on your para? I’m in my 30s and pretty computer literate, I don’t dictate, I like doing research etc. I know other attorneys that have their paras do all their discovery, all their research, all their motions and I wonder how it’s possible to hit billables if someone else is doing the majority of your work? Seems crazy to me.
