This is a tough question, because both have great cultures! I worked at both and lean slightly towards Accenture. Pwc culture is more scattered and can feel like very different groups and companies. Accenture is much more standard across strategy and consulting (Some parts of operations outsourcing feels different). Pwc also has a different feel between audit tax and consulting. Whereas Accenture is much more tech and consulting centric. I’d go one level deeper and compare the roles - which groups are the offers for? And where did you click with the people?
I’ve found culture to be very practice specific. Any idea which group or practice you’d be in at each firm?

The answer to this question is always the same for any big consulting company: it depends on what sub-segment of the company you're in.

I would agree, PwC culture is VERY dependent on the group and then who you work for. I’ve had nothing but an awesome experience but I know some people that have been miserable.
If people think cultures are the same, go Accenture. Avoid all this independence malarkey at PwC cause we have audit.
2 years ago that is before covid i had the same question and i had joined pwc over Accenture.
Ctc was same for me but location was different, and i choose location which was near my hometown
Big 4 consulting + Accenture is a melting pot. You might only notice slight differences based on practice, project team, and office
Worked at both, keep in mind it’s usually project/practice based, but my experience has been pretty split in different ways. At ACN, I felt a stronger sense of community but the hours were garbage. At PwC, I’ve had much more face time with partners, directors, c-suite, and much more responsibility with less hours. I do think projects moved faster at ACN, but I also think the experience I’ve gained at PwC will make me more marketable.
What group at PwC? Agree it varies throughout.
It would be in operations strategy
I’d go with PWC. Accenture is publicly traded so always about the bottom line. They have shareholders to answer to!
For Accenture all depends upon project. Overall company culture is good but that doesn't matter. Some projects can have worst culture.
No idea about PwC
