I am currently getting a Master's of Library and Information Sciences, teaches information technology but it doesn't specialize in it. I am interested in working in UX Design. I have a BA in Psychology. Would it be beneficial to get into one of those UX boot camps to create a portfolio or do I just do one and begin to apply for entry UX roles? Thank you 🙏🏼

The networking you can do and the whole experience are priceless. That said, at least it was very expensive for me the time I went, for all the price of lodging, food, etc. I don't think I would go again, but I don't regret going once.
I went once and found it to be a great experience. Not sure if I'd do it again, though. Maybe if the price came down or if my employer paid.
Yea its pretty pricey. Especially for it being a virtual option. I don't know that I would pay it again thats for sure
I think any opportunity to network is worth it
Is the virtual part of it worth 200$?
I don't know that I would do it virtually. Its more valuable to meet people in person. I don't think I would pay $200 to do it virtually.
