Crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside 😍
^ are you having a baguettasm? 😂
EY2, are you thinking of a croissant? Baguettes have never been flaky.
If the crunchiness hurts, it's low quality or stale. I've had that experience and it sucks. But when done well? Beaaauutiful rainbows fill my senses and all is right with the world
OP, it shouldn't be a dry crunchy. Only the outer crust should be crunchy, the rest warm and mellow and fluffy and omg 😍
@D1 That's how I like it too. Recently found out several of my friends don't like crunchy because it "hurts their mouth" when biting into it. 🤔
^ Warm baguette + ripe Camembert + Red wine: heavenly.
The French in me agrees with D1.
^ I think I am 😂
Depends what you're eating it with
Great question have wondered the same
I had a salmon baguette sandwich today and was disappointed that it felt like it was made a day ago. Was hard on outside and felt stay inside, I complained but they lied to me said it was made fresh but I was the first customer of the morning. Going to give em a bad yelp review.
