Does anyone use the Alight Smart Connect FSA at your firm? My client is struggling with them- apparently their FSA MasterCard has a majority of transactions declined, even co-pays, unless it is at a national company like CVS or Walgreens. Curious if anyone else has the same experience or if this is potentially a setup issue.

I have a 25K loan from my MBA. I paid off 100k whole, after graduation. 3 years ago, I moved my loan from federal to private ( SOFI) account. I recently lost my job. Hi. A bit new to audit and have a question on a report's opinion.
I came across a somewhat old auditor report (from a very small auditing firm) that listed several instances where employees misappropriated assets within its schedule of findings, yet the opinion was unmodified. Is this fine? I would think it'd affect the opinion not knowing everything that was misappropriated. Could it be that the auditor felt comfortable enough on how much they identified and that lowered the risk?

Anyone else noticing the level of review and quality of work has become trash lately? I recently walked through a file and half the workpapers were incomplete but signed off at every level of review😂🤣
