Raise will likely be better than normal but won’t come close to a double raise that would put you on par with a non early promoted person (assuming you’re both lifers etc)
Agreed with EY1. I was early promoted and while the raise was better, I was still below the others at my level by a lot and only slightly above those in my peer class I started with that were not early promoted and a level below.
That’s messed up ^
I honestly don't remember. But I was happy with it and surprised when I got another descent bump 6 months later.
When I was early promoted, manager after 2 years rather than 3, I made more than s third year senior but less than a typical 1st year manager. As a second year manager I caught up with the rest
My early promotion to senior was similar to PWC2. Got promoted to Senior in January and got a bump then got a bump again in the fall that got me in line with the seniors that were freshly promoted.
SA1- thanks for the info! I was just early promoted to senior myself and have not yet had the comp call. Your experience is pretty much what I expect as well. I just got an 11% raise from staff 1-2 only 6 months ago so I couldn’t imagine my promotion raise being the same as if I’d been promoted next summer on schedule, since I’ll likely be receiving another raise next summer anyway! That’d be nice but definitely unlikely.
May I what was the $ of your staff 2 to senior raise?
No worries! I had my comp talk yesterday and my raise was about 11%. I just got 10% in August and I’ll get another this summer so I’m happy with 11%.
