Hello, is there anyone willing to refer me at KPMG Canada for IT Support Analyst position? I will be graduating end of next month and I strongly feel my skills and experience are a great match for the role. I’m being ghosted by the recruiter for this role for almost 3 weeks now. I’d really appreciate your support. Thank you very much! KPMG

To me it’s just a super senior role. You can manage low risk, smaller jobs (usually stuff like NFP and benefit plans), and in-charge the hardest/worst jobs. I got promoted to supervisor and quit for a manager job at a F500 company making 6 figures (central region). Left PA 9 months ago and never going back.
Depends on the office and group. At ours, when RSM acquired the predecessor firm all senior managers became managers. In our particular group, supervisors take on a manager role and we have a good chunk of seniors running some engagements as well. Conversely, other lines of businesses in our own office seem to go the other route where supervisors are more like seniors
The supervisor role is intended as a Jr manager role - if there wasn’t a position between senior and manager, then everyone would expect to be a manager within 5 years, because the sense of entitlement is a thing. That’s also everyone expecting to be a partner by 35. Supervisor role also gives seniors who think they should be managers a chance to prove themselves without the expectation of sales goals on top of project management.
Really depends on the group and how they treat their supervisors. Some more akin to manager in big four and some senior. Generally, you would expect second year supervisor to be manager-like.
Its supposed to be an in between, but hopefully its gone soon bc it just confuses people
I would say it leans more towards a manager. Supervisor can serve as the final sign off on wps after preparation and first review. But it does depend on the group at times.
Manager in a big 4
Supervisor is equivalent to Senior3 at EY
I’m ex RSM why would someone ever be a second year supervisor - why wouldn’t they be able to make Manager in a year
And It’s def NOT equivalent to a Manager role at PwC..maybe another firm idk
