Is there a bench concept in EYP strategy? If yes, are we allowed to work with teams in different industry segments?

Ladies, has anyone mastered the art of appearing busy when on the bench?

When I am on the bench, it totally shows (required to be in office), while the guys on my team seen to pull it off just fine.
