Is there a big difference in pay between an Investment Banking Associate and an Associate Director?

Different banks have different title progressions (usually regional banks/lower tiered banks have title inflation) so would need to know YOE as the title Associate Director isn’t common in IB….unless you mean Associate Director in another field like FP&A or something which in that case YOE will still be helpful to know as pay varies across companies and not all FP&A roles are the same

Assoc. Director is the same as Associate at banks like UBS. Same comp profile

SalesForce folks, a recruiter reached out for an opportunity to interview for a AE position in my specialty. I noticed there is also an opp available locally for a Strategic Account Manager in my vertical as well.
Any one know of pay difference between the two, responsibilities/expectations, how they are viewed in the org itself?
I understand they are different but in my job today, I handle both roles so can go in either direction.
Appreciate any input.

Hi! First off, I know none of this constitutes legal advice, etc., but I’d like some outside perspectives and advice here.

My wife found out she makes ~25% less that her male co-worker did when he was her level of seniority, and they have the same job responsibilities and the exact same credentials (same undergrad, masters program, etc.); he now makes 50% more than she does, but has 3 more years of WE, so to me that’s not as applicable.

Does she have a claim here? Need any other details?

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?
