Hello everyone,
I have recently been hired as an Engineer Trainee from campus placements. The Job Description mentions both AI/ML and software development domains. I am more into the AI/ML side, but it seems that the team I am assigned to, is more into the software development side.
Is it possible that:
1. I get tasks on the AI/ML side in my current team?
2. Is there a way to switch to another team which works more on the AI/ML side? And will it be easy?

I have a year of experience out of college in engineering and consulting. I recently saw a business planning, Apple Music role at Apple that I feel like I’m a good fit for and was wondering if anyone would be willing to refer me. I’m passionate about music and am a producer during my free time and feels like this role sits at the intersection between music, tech, and strategy. If someone would like to chat a bit more about it, would love to reach out!
Perhaps think about working in implementation consulting?
I work in Digital Products Management at Accenture and that's what we do
Haven't touched PowerPoint since I joined.
Mainly using JIRA to write user stories, manage project and a couple of tools for agile ceremonies

Implementation consulting or agencies do this type of work but PowerPoint isn't entirely absent. It's also compensated less than traditional consulting work.
I see PowerPoint as a communication tool, but not as a deliverable in itself. When the communication with the client becomes an end in itself, nothing is getting accomplished per se, it’s just influencing and aligning all the time. Which means there is no real work just politics and extending the duration of the engagement.

Your question should be what type of consulting vs which firms.
You can try in-house consulting. While you will be making slides, but in most cases you will be responsible for the delivery rather than just recommendation in the PPT
Yes lots - find the delivery side of consulting organizations (operations, technology, product, etc)
Not really in delivery and yet making tons of slides and dancing around what the client think they might want versus what they critically need or needed like yesterday

“Delivering products, solutions and agile outcomes” sounds like you read it off a PowerPoint
Exactly my point - PowerPoint has its uses but is not the be all and end all of a consultant’s toolkit or existence.
Types of consulting implies the types of firms, no?
