Sounds like something to ask your manager?

It will be risky to ask your manager though.

Do you do the Samething ask ur manager ?

Depends on the client needs. If you are supposed to be on-site every day for weeks on then 9–10 am is probably what they expect. If you are going for a one off then you have more control over the schedule and I’d say 1 pm is the latest (otherwise you may as well start Tuesday).

like

Normally there is a project policy for this as well as leaving. If you aren’t comfortable asking a manager, ask someone in PMO and they can tell you. I spend all Monday in transit (west to east coast travel) and don’t arrive until 3.

like

West to East is a killer. Especially if you have connections. On one project I could not reach the client office before 4pm, I just had to be very clear about it with the client and my leadership, and for me, Sunday travel (on the regular) was not an option.

If you have to ask, then it's 9:00 am for you

like

Never ask manager for time, he would simply say client would love to have you in by 9am or 930 the latest. Please try to be here no later than 10am. Now you’re fked with taking 530am flight! Try make your own schedule and let the client know verbally that you plan to be office by noon Monday and u plan to leave office by 2pm Thursday. Make sure they don’t schedule meetings on mondays and Thursdays. Tuesday and Wednesday, you put 12 hours a day!

I usually take the 7-8am flight out of my city and get to the client site whenever I get there. If someone has a problem with that, then they can come tell me

My client doesn’t follow a proper data cleaning process and creates visualizations straight from scripts with dirty data constantly then reviews it with C-Suite stakeholders making my team’s data look invalid. I have registered it to be a HIGH risk and even created tutorials to help address proper data cleaning procedures. I do not have access to the Database but rather receive scripted reports frequently. What can I do to next ?

Do you keep your automatic replies internal only, or do you use for external (aka client) emails, as well? I’ve gone both ways but have noticed increasing trend to keep internal only. I have a classic situation coming up where my project was delayed, so it is now overlapping with vacation. I am very tempted to go 100% off email (colleagues/clients have my cell) but wondering if this will reflect poorly on me and the firm.
