I have put down my papers and my manager has offered me onsite (Australia) but she said it will take time(6-8m) for visa and opportunity.Since, requests are piled up for visa and depending on my documentations. If they find opportunity they will consider me first.

Once I get my H1B issued, how soon can I apply for a greencard and how long does the process take from application to receipt of the greencard? For reference, I’m born Canadian (I think birth country plays a factor in this?) and is it better to apply through my employer or apply on my own?

Hello - I got approved for an H1B visa last June 2021 from an L1B visa. Does the my previous (2) years in L1B count towards my H1B? I got confused since my I-797A says it is valid from 10/2021 - 09/2024. Thanks!

Since we’ve been remote since last year, I took the opportunity to travel nationally and get my job done. I was recently informed that I cannot work outside the MSA of the address (Chicago) mentioned in my H1B and hence just returned back to Chicago. My firm applied for my I-140 in premium processing. It has been more than 15 calendar days. (17 to be exact) I have reached out to my immigration team. Are there reasons for such delays?
