Is it possible to land an in house job that specializes in a practice that wasn’t your main practice as a law firm associate?

I have 1 year experience in IT audit and I am currently staffed on a Cyber strategy engagement while studying for the security+. Firm making it difficult to transfer internally, any advice? Is my experience enough to apply to other firms’ cyber strategy roles? I can’t see myself doing IT audit long term so I want to make a switch ASAP.

I have 4 years experience in banking of which 3 years were off role at Axis Bank. I am currently on DM1 grade and my package is 4.3LPA. I am looking for a Career in Data Science, How do I go about it? I feel like I've wasted my years.

Currently working as tech support (BPO setting). Deficating nay next 5 yrs to get my end goal to be on cloud computing. Will be studying materials to get certified and experience along the way.

Is there a point when MBA doesn't make financial sense? I'm 29 at $180k base with additional compensation typically around 15-25% over the last few years.

I like what I'm doing I think, but a top MBA had always been one of those personal goals of mine. Goal would be to maybe switch to MBB where I think compensation is slightly higher than what I'm getting right now at my level.

Does it look bad on my profile to leave my current job within the probation period, for a more lucrative offer abroad. How do I do the explaining to my new job and what reasons should i give to the current job to have quit so early.
I feel really bad that my current company hired me at a raise and are investing into my on-boarding etc.

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.

If I have a very large pivot table with a bunch of subtotals, is there an easy way to make those subtotals actually formula driven? Other than just copying the values from the pivot into a new sheet and converting the hard-coded amounts to formulas manually?

I was recently promoted.. so I think. The company is going through reorg and with that, the minimum salary is being pushed to $52k/yr. I am currently earning $42k/yr and with this promotion, I was offered $55k. I am thankful for the recognition however, seeing as new employees will be hired in at almost the same rate; I’m not sure how to negotiate this. I would already be receiving a 23% increase but with the reorg taking place I would essentially be back a square one.

Recruiter reached out regarding Job B at 130K with greater advancement potential but it starts out at 6 Months Contract to Hire per the agency contract. No bonus, benefits adequate by comparison. There is no guarantee to go full time.

Tranferred to another team third time during 7 months stint. The new team is not happy and are giving me namesake training and has said if not performed starting next month, I will be out. I have my wedding next week and they are giving me exercises during weekends also. In my old team I opted for transfer to new location but the new manager said they will not allow it as no one is there to check me. Have lost all motivation to work with everyday criticism and rants.
