I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

I don't think leadership in my office would hire another big 4 auditor after 2 years directly to senior. Different audit methodology, different systems. The first year at senior here is really learning how to senior. I'm sure at PWC it's the same but without the title.
Maybe but I don't know how much a 3rd year staff at PWC makes? A first year senior in NYC makes just under $80k. If a 3rd year staff makes like $73k then who cares? They will eventually catch up.
I would never been a good senior in two years. God bless 😂
A3 at PwC pays comparable to S1 at other firms, and often times S1 at PwC will pay more than S2 at other firms
You couldn’t pay me enough to be a Senior 1 at KMPG vs an A3 at PwC 😂
PwC 4 please stop. You’re embarrassing us.
Not sure, but YOE is more important if you're jumping ship anyway
What matters is what you learn at the firm. You go to big4 for the experience, otherwise why would you accept to be underpaid for 3 to 5 years. If you don’t take the necessary knowledge with you when you leave, then why did you do big 4 to begin with? 2 years as an associate is often times not enough, most of the stuff you do those two years is SALY anyway, a kid out of high school could do that too.
My senior did exactly what you said from PwC to D
Rising Star
I believe the reason they do it is that they figured out the could during the great recession. It encourages people to stay a little longer but almost all employers know about this & recognize that 2 years at any big 4 is the same. No one is leaving the big 4 after 2 years for big money. It's really inconsequential long term
There is not a reason and they do. However, it is important to note that an A3 at Pdubs is compensated comparably to a senior elsewhere. It is purely title.
I think it rare for a 2nd year associate to be proficient enough to delegate and develop others. So I envision year 1 learning the skills, year 2 honing in on those skills and starting to delegate and year 3 really showing their ability to keep things moving.
Isn’t PwC moving toward 2 years to senior? That’s what i heard
