I've been working for 3 years since graduation and the first 2 years I worked in aviation consultancy. Mostly doing data/BI analysis but my main title and job was airport planner. I've made a move to the data science team and have been working as a data scientist for just over a year now and I'm only earning £37k.
I want to make a jump to a higher paid data science role but I feel a bit insecure that 2/3yrs of my experience is not in data science.

Is the principle of “last in, first out” true? Due to accept an offer in Big 4 which is experiencing a lot of demand (and likely will even more so in recession) but concerned about current economic conditions

I have been in the role since Feb 2018, initially as a Supervisor, and in the beginning of 2021 got promoted to Assistant Manager.
