Working in consulting was always my dream, I knew this field is hard to get into for everyone but it’s even harder because I’m an international student in the US, most companies will reject my application immediately because they don’t sponsor, and the companies that sponsors don’t hire from my university, any suggestions?

Hello, I had a second round interview almost 2 weeks ago. I sent a follow up email thanking the person who interviewed me. I waited a week but heard nothing back. (This happened after the first interview) I sent an email to the point of contact after the 1st round and she apologized saying there HR person was out and she was able to schedule the next round for me.
