I am deputed at the client office. I use PSL laptop only to check mails. But in my last appraisal my manager told me that I need to get 60 credit points for promotion. I put all my upcoming dates in outlook and include 1 month/2wk/1wk/3day reminders
I built one as a law clerk. Never found an app I liked.
You can build a date calculator in Excel out of the statutory/rule timelines, then manually adjust it as judges customize the dates.
EG: Scheduling order, discovery, arbitration, and trial should be pretty easy to pin or at least ballpark.
Then, use functions to show "days until".
I'd never trust an app. The judge certainly won't buy that excuse. The managing partner won't either. Every case where a complaint is filed, I put it in a chart. My chart includes, next on date, last on date, what transpired, reports to client (you know that ethics rule about client communications). This was done automatically at the DA's office, but I have to do it manually at my firm.
