So glad I found this group! I’ve hopped through 3 jobs since graduating 2 years ago. They all start out great- I ace interviews, flourish creatively, and get super positive feedback from managers. Few months in, my interest begins to wane. Productivity dies off, and engagement in my work falls of the cliff. I’m a new dad with a 1yr old daughter.
She woke up a bunch of times in her sleep last night calling ‘dada’. Since she went back to sleep as usual in a minute, I didn’t pick her up. I was watching her on the monitor. I went this morning to her room, I noticed her diaper leaked, full of poop & all over her. Her bum was full of rashes. I feel so broken & hurt that I ignored her cries and wasn’t there for her when she needed me.
