Human capital may be a broader move into human capital consulting/organizational change management/get the hell out of tax. I’ve never really understood why GMS isn’t covered by ITS.

I spent 20 years in mobility and just jumped out. It is a dying industry in the b4. I loved it for years but there is so much change and disruption and the b4 are not agile enough for quick enough to adapt and take advantage of the change.

Yeah, it’s a complete waste of time and energy. Very few options to move out to another group or Company afterwards

Is project leader title at BCG equivalent to Manager at Big 4?

Are any of the big 4 firms seen below one another? Or is it more McKinsey=Bain=Bcg > D=EY=pwc=kpmg? Purely talking in terms of prestige. Not sure if that’s even true for MBB but I’ve always wondered if “not all big 4 firms are created equal”

How should I invest next? 24M - NYC w/ 79k income - 10k in savings, 12k in 401k (16% between tax/non tax account), no loans/debt. Currently saving 800-1k/month after taxes/deductions. Where should I park this money now that I’m comfortable with my savings? No immediate large expenses planned, grad school in (distant?) future.

Anyone work at both a big firm (think big 4) and at a boutique (<50 people). I'm considering joining a boutique (SM level) and can picture pros/cons but looking to hear from people who have done it.

I recently passed the CFE and was looking into the CAMS next. Any suggestions on how to best prepare for the CAMS? I’ve been mostly reviewing the index cards that come with the prep material.

SM1 non-MBA in Strat IT Advisory in Toronto. Grew up at EY starting as S1 over 11 years ago at 40k base. Now at 126k base feeling severely underpaid. How much more could I get at B4 or industry or EY?

Has anyone worked in both big4 consulting & MBB? What are the main differences? Work environment, politics, life balance, exit options, etc. Is it truly worthy to switch to MBB after a few yrs in B4?

It's almost frustrating to find another job at the 5th year of H1B. What do you guys suggest? EY is pretty scary when it comes to expectations (managers/Sr.Managers I work with) who can screw me over any time. And the climate of layoffs. Only thing holding me back is the GC for which perm is still in process

EY H1B related question- does anybody know if EY does "bridge transfers"? Context: Got laid off from previous job and before I ran out of the 60 day grace period, transferred H1 to a small IT consulting firm but approval is pending. Wondering if EY will apply for a transfer even though the previous one is pending, I know it's completely legal and acceptable to do so (based on advice from multiple immigration lawyers). Has anyone been through the same situation? Continued in comments..
