Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. His messages show he still doesn’t know what he wants. Yet, if I am totally honest, I hate how part of me wishes he would do a grand gesture/finally decide to be a better man. It’s delusional. With 18 months of FDD as a senior 3 I’m starting to look at a jump to IB (yes I know its not a good time with the markets - just starting conversations). I can’t seem to find any true HHs or recruiting firms. For those who made the jump did you use any search firms or just start reaching out to folks at specific banks to start conversations? Any tips on starting this networking process if you don’t have many natural “ins”?

Is FDD to MBA to VC realistic? Or would I need to to FDD to IB to VC?
