Is there any reason to stay past M1 year if my goal is to become a CFO/Controller in industry?

Go look at all the CFOs/Controllers you know on LinkedIn and see how long they stayed in PA (assuming they started in public which some CFOs obv going a different path).

like

No, I left for industry after M1 and jumped to be a controller of a small public company.

No

m1 can be controller. Prob not CFO

No, it’s pretty rare to see someone straight out of public accounting to go into a controllership, much less CFO. The best thing to do would be to transition to an industry role to get exposure over month end, reporting, etc. Thats the experience you need to secure a controllership.

Testing approach for Management Review ITDM Controls
Say you have a daily review control, whereby each day all the items (say, GL posting amendments) in the report listed get reviewed and approved. We sample and review the individual 25 dates/reports, but when it comes to testing the completeness and accuracy of their review for each of those reports, if there are 100 amendments for each of those days, we'd take a sample of these right to test? But wouldn't this be taking a sample of a sample?

Is it the Equity Partners or the Client 🤔 In case Partners, than I really think that even though current hot market might have boon for the most but absolutely nightmare for the Partners group.
