Is there any standard rating given in the first year of employment with PWC India?

Like I have heard in delloite, EY in the first year a standard of 3 rating is given.

SWE with almost 2.5 YOE. I was laid off from my previous job at the end of July and accepted a new position for 115K, no performance or sign on bonus. Is this a good salary for a full stack SWE with my experience or should I have asked for more? They offered 110 and I negotiated to 115, I also have unlimited PTO.

Im on pace to settle between $8-10M this year ($2.7-3M in fees) as pre-lit personal injury attorney, 10 years out, 1 year into new firm, Base $90k, 3% commission, I should clear $175k-$180k this year with benefits and 4% matching IRA, we have 55 employees at the firm, is it unreasonable to be wanting to clear $200k a year? $225k a reach? Don’t want to be unreasonable having only been here a year?

Went to HR to complain about horrible manager. Will I get fired or let go? I was just speaking up for myself.

Was on a call with a senior manager and couldn’t answer any of his questions. I’m new to this industry and did my best to prepare but fell short. Feeling so defeated right now 😣

Hi! New here, I was offered a contract position but I’m a newbie LPN so Im looking for any advice or guidance you guys have to offer! I meet with HR tomorrow to discuss the contract. Here are the details..it would be a 90 day contract position working weekend nights at a long term care facility in a very rural area. I would be working on a dementia unit with 28 residents currently. I would be driving an hour and a half one way so 9 hours drive time a weekend. Pay is $45/hour.

Taking a total of 9 BD off for wedding + honeymoon in Europe. I’d be returning on Tues. But I return from Europe on Sunday, and then I have a longish drive back home on Monday. Is it acceptable to take Tues off too and return on Wed? Or is Wed a weird day to return to work?

Have been working with EY for last 1.5-2 years now. Took two promotions till date.
With the current promotions and current talks of hikes to be given without salary correction (matching certain industry standards)

I have got an opportunity from another big-4 matching more than EY's band (9.5-10.5 at con. 1) to about 13 per annum.

Really happy with the growth here at EY but money also matters. Shall I be taking this leap?

I'm currently working in KGS and Mahn this chargeable hours style of working sucks..
There are tons of distraction while you are working on something and then you are supposed to be within the budgeted hours which are always low. There is so much non-chargeable stuff going on.

Missing those days when this clock wasnt constantly ticking on my head.

These global divisions are getting so shit these days, people should stop saying global divisions have work life balance.
