Is there anyone else out there who keeps getting ghosted by agencies after interviewing for jobs? I've been applying to jobs for months. I've constantly been changing my approach and techniques. Yet I keep getting ghosted by agencies - sometimes even after I reach out asking for an update. I guess I just gotta assume that my acceptance email got lost and move on. 😂

It does seem to be the norm. Out of the 16 roles I've interviewed for (7 final rounds), only 1 has bothered to even send a rejection letter

Definitely seems to be the new normal sadly. Had the same frustrations last year. Keep your head up. Take a break and try again, adjust your book and resume. Try to take in any of the feedback you did hear and pivot. Last - try to come across as an empathetic, enthusiastic, engaging, team player. We all want to like the people we work with.

I’ve had 1st and sometimes 2nd interviews for 6 positions at 4 agencies but have only been ghosted once. Then again, the time between the phone screen and technical interview was 4 weeks so they didn’t really have it together.

I’ve had three rounds of interviews at two agencies and didn’t hear from either until I reached out to ask. Just had one interview with another agency only to hear that I’m “one of their strongest candidates”….and cue the crickets.

In the same boat. I’ve applied to over 30 positions, 8 final rounds over a span of a few months. Luckily a lot of them have sent rejections and feedback (I’m pushy).

Hundreds of times over the past year. Been ghosted in the middle of interview processes even after given glowing feedback. I don’t understand it. Find it especially ironic when some of them have told me they are interested because of their DEI policy. I am a POC. 🤷‍♂️

Same here. Got reached out to by a recruiter from an agency on LinkedIn for an open role they had. They were genuinely interested in me, and at first the interview process was moving super quick. Made it to the final round (the last person I had left to meet with was the CEO). Reached out to the recruiter to schedule the last interview, swore they would get back to me within a week.. it’s been an entire month since that conversation and I’ve reached out 2x since. This industry is playing hella games.

Hey Guys, I got an offer from IBM and wanted to understand how the PF deduction works. So the compensation breakup is like Fixed pay(basic+FBP) + Gratuity(4.8% of basic) + PF(12% of basic) Is the PF mentioned in the offer breakup, employers PF or employee PF? If its the employers PF, will the same amount(12% of basic) will again be deducted from my fixed as employee PF contribution?
