She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.

Hello! Any tips on entering mid law or in-house in Cincinnati graduation. Currently, a 3L at a New York school (not top ranked), 3.17 GPA. I do have good work experience working as a state judicial law intern, member of a hybrid SA program between my school and a big-law firm, and currently as an intern working on Smart Contracts and a legal advisor to the company’s CLM team. However, its been difficult to get my foot in the door and I am worried its because of grades. Can anyone provide advice?

Who has the better Assurance practice in Austin, TX out of the Big 4? My perception is that it is EY as they have top clients in the tech space.

Every now and then my roommate throws a party for his friends, which I come home to and join in a little (take one or two shots, etc). The next morning he always asks me to help clean up the whole house such as throw away trash, mop floors, etc. Am I obligated to help out just because I was there? I don’t mind helping a little but sometimes I end up doing a majority of the work and feel like I shouldn’t be for a party that I didn’t even decide to throw.

How do RSU work when a company is acquired. For example, I have 200 shares that are not vested awarded at $100 per share. When the company is acquired does it convert to 200 shares and the new company value? So if the new company is $200 per share is it now equivalent to 40k rather than the 20k now? Or do they some how keep it at the 20k value?
