Everything else equal, would you take an offer that is 30k higher in comp (180k vs 150k) but will start GC in 1 year or a lower offer that starts on Day 1?

Hey, seeking some help.

I've been asked to walk through a financial model I built as part of case study round for an Infrastructure investor. The model works fine for the inputs they provided but would get stuck when any input in the model is changed and I'm afraid the interviewer has figured that already and will specifically ask what's wrong.

I am unable to find any bugs with the code or why the model wouldn't work. How do I address it and not sound like a complete dumbass to them?!

Do lower ranked “big law” firms have better WLB? Deciding between a v10 and a V40. I don’t want to make partner and am not the best attorney (too Exhausted, no more motivation) so am thinking of choosing the V40 for either better WLB or smaller likelihood of getting let go.

This might be inappropriate but how often are the rest of you having sex with your significant other or spouse? We have little kids and I work 75 hours a week so I am lucky to hook up twice a week and even that is tough to schedule. My wife takes it personally if I am not all over her so I try to make an effort even when I am dead tired. Did you ever had this feeling of not fitting in? People (including non-legal staff) in my team just ignore me. I know I made some mistakes, but resenting a trainee for that reason seems unfair. Just went to farewell drinks of an associate and only two persons out of 14 actively engaged conversation with me. With the rest I had this feeling of forcing everything and of being the awkward one. People were referring to funny stories on cases we’re working on and that I never heard about.
