So here's where I'm at....I have a job that's VERY stable but a manager that well, manages poorly. The manager is there for the foreseeable future, there is no room for promotion or a possible shift change for another 2-4 years. Opportunity is seemingly presenting itself elsewhere, but I'm worried about the stability of the new place. I've seen that they just had workers retire after 35-40 years and the reviews are at 82% recommended work place. My goal is to get to 1st shift. Thoughts?

First time ask here: I was interviewing for an Executive and Internal Comms Manager role and after three stages, I got word that the role has been paused but the executive I would be supporting if I had gotten the role now wants me to interview for Chief of staff. What's a good sign on bonus in UK?

Would love any thoughts on my current situation. Worked 1 year at a T2 firm (EYP, OW, S&) and make the transition over to MBB 3 months ago.

While recruiting for MBB I was also doing off cycle GE recruiting. The process dropped off and resumed just a couple weeks ago and I’ve received an offer for this summer. Wondering if leaving after 6-8 months in MBB is too short or if I should just take the offer and run w it.

Thoughts on Nautic in RI? Comp, hours, etc.

From the outside, I always thought of PE firms to be well-oiled machines where everyone is working hard but with a clear purpose. Now starting at an LMM as a senior associate I feel kind of lost. It’s chaos - every person above me wants something else and there are constant discussions, bickering and politics being played. Is this representative of other (LMM?) PE firms, or did I get unlucky? It feels like a tech startup lol.

Any well known LMM PE funds that pay MF/UMM comp? Smaller businesses excite me more than larger deals but given fund structure seems like this is a rarity

I am a M2 at B4 FDD and don’t know how long i’ll be genuinely interested in this work. Currently debating rotating into a B4 IB associate role for a year or two, then moving to PE. Is this a reasonable move? I know IB lifestyle will suck, but I don’t want to find myself in a spot where I dislike what I do in a few years and feel like moving to IB may increase my chances of landing a better gig in the future ( as opposed to sticking to FDD)
