Yes, have seen, is rare-ish, but 5ths often take a haircut for this, and this for their benefit--their skills are not at 5th when they switch
CFIUS and foreign direct investment work are housed under lit a lot of times, but they involve doing regulatory work on deals. They can be good bridge practices when going from lot to corporate.

I couldn't stand biglaw litigation, drafting briefs, arguing before a judge, none of it was for me. I knew I wanted to do corporate and then lucked into a relatively nice area of corporate.
