Is there such a thing as too much experience? I feel like I keep getting
passed on for Analyst positions when my resume thus far is pretty
impressive.

There are several things it could be, job hopping, appears fake, different industry, high competition, education/certifications. I would go directly network with a recruiter or ask old professors, colleague's, etc. If they notice anything. (I don't know if I would have the right insight but if you want to send it to me I can take a look)

Why not allow for the next level?

I just got approved for my second CC and it has a limit of $18,000. The credit card is with Navy Federal and it’s the cash rewards card that yields 1.75% cash back on all purchases. Can anyone give any tips or ideas as to what I can do with this? I was thinking to purchase an existing business that is already generating income. Thoughts?

Advice requested: When you were a legal intern or a summer, what type of projects did you like best? What was most helpful to you when you received a new assignment? Anything you wish your mentor did/didn’t do? I’m working with my first ever intern and trying to structure projects so they know that the work is important and relevant to the business, and why, and to provide enough background info on the area of law so they don’t spin wheels on the basics. What else should I be doing?

How likely is google to change its stance on returning to the office? I’m evaluating 2 offers right now - both are very similar (pay, job function, etc.) except google is in-office. I’m so comfortable at home and can spend more time cooking and exercising when I’m not commuting. Google is obviously a better brand than my other offer, but I’m not sure if that is enough to make it worth it.

Hi there,
I’m a bit newer to data science and recently read through a few academic case studies on ethical fairness in ML/modeling. Would love to start a thread to hear some more from data scientist/ML perspective.
The most harmful example I came across was bias in ML for the criminal justice system.

Is anyone currently in a data science/ML position willing to share their thoughts/maybe an example based on experience? Thinking about how to actively prevent this kind of bias in future models

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on. Hey all! So I got a job offer for 95k for a Sr. Regulatory Relations Specialist. Is this the average salary or a lowball offer? Personally, I am having a hard time finding the average role salary posted anywhere.
