Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

Just log in at 9am on start date, let them know you are online and ready to go and you look forward to the week ahead. They will eventually tell you.
Sorry to hear! Def not a good look on the company.
If you haven’t already reached out - best bet would be to show up at your start time on the offer letter if there is one.
Did you reach out and ask? I’d bet the thanksgiving break just had everyone distracted today and it slipped someone’s mind to give you guidance
I have reached out several times and I was told I’d get an answer over the weekend and still nothing:( I reached out to the recruiter and she said she hasn’t heard anything back from the team I’m supposed to start with so I’m not sure what’s happening. They are pretty relaxed though so I’m not sure if im to go in later in the day when my mentor is there or be there in the morning lol everyone on my team is remote so it kind of depends on when my mentor goes in is when I’m supposed to go
Sounds like the company is lacking on its end. I would make sure to have any emails you have sent on hand, jsut in case anyone brings you into question, as this is definitely not a good look for the company. I would go in somewhat early, around 9 or so though, jsut to show that you are ready to start and they need to step up a little.

Update?
Ended up being a miss on the recruiters end! Lol she had missed the email from my new manager to relay the info back to me they ended up texting me early this morning about the details 😂
You're surely off to a weird start there, but it's not your fault. If you're already emailed them about it, maybe try calling the company for good measure. Also, keep the emails in case you get questions as to why you're starting a little late.
Looks like another company with unorganized management. Ask for an update. That way, you'll have a proof that you reached out first.
